Electrical Manufacturing Engineering Manager
About the Role We are seeking a skilled and visionary Electrical Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead a team of talented manufacturing engineers and wiring designers. This position is integral to harmonizing and optimizing wiring manufacturing processes, bridging the gap between design and production, and driving innovation within a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead efforts to harmonize and improve wiring manufacturing processes across multiple production facilities.
- Collaborate with electrical design engineering teams to enhance designs for manufacturability.
- Oversee pilot programs to test new manufacturing processes, equipment, or technologies, and drive the adoption of successful programs.
- Ensure quality, accuracy, and adherence to standards for all work produced by the Electrical Manufacturing Engineering team.
- Partner with operations and production teams to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements.
- Provide hands-on technical support for production teams to ensure quick resolution of issues and minimize downtime.
- Regularly inspect factory floors, collaborate with production teams, and follow up with relevant stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain manufacturing guidelines for electrical processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, quality assurance, production, design engineering, and mechanical counterparts, to ensure seamless integration of design and manufacturing processes.
- Partner with design, new product development, and R&D engineering teams to optimize designs for manufacturing.
- Assist Quality Assurance and Quality Control teams with root cause investigations.
- Track and report key performance metrics related to process improvements, production efficiency, and design accuracy.
- Travel to production plants (up to 25%) to engage with local teams and stakeholders.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience optimizing electrical manufacturing processes.
- At least 2 years in a leadership role mentoring manufacturing engineers.

- Proficiency in electrical schematics, wiring design, and manufacturing processes.

- Hands-on experience with process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma.
- Outstanding communication skills, capable of conveying complex information to technical and non-technical audiences.
